These Terms and Conditions govern the application process and subsequent engagement of all independent contractors and drivers providing services via the Ridewell Global platform. By submitting your application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Be a Nigerian citizen or legally eligible to work in Nigeria.
Be at least 25 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license and National Identification Number (NIN).
Have a minimum of 3 years verifiable driving experience.
Have a clean driving record and no history of reckless driving or criminal offenses.
Submission of an online application does not guarantee employment or engagement with Ridewell.
All applications are subject to screening, background checks, and interviews.
Applicants must provide accurate and verifiable information. Any false or misleading information may result in immediate disqualification or termination of engagement if discovered later.
By applying, you authorize Ridewell to conduct criminal record checks, employment verification, and reference checks.
Verify your driver’s license status, identity, and residential address.
Contact your previous employers or referees for validation of your work history and character.
Ridewell ensures that all personal information collected during verification is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Approved drivers may be engaged as independent contractors or under other suitable arrangements, depending on the service model.
As a Ridewell driver, you represent the Ridewell brand and are expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity, and customer service.
Drivers must not represent themselves as employees of a client unless specifically authorized by Ridewell.
Drivers are required to maintain punctuality, discipline, and good personal hygiene.
Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and client-specific instructions.
Refrain from any form of harassment, misconduct, substance abuse, or dishonesty.
Treat all clients and colleagues with respect and professionalism at all times.
Any breach of conduct may lead to suspension or termination of engagement.
By submitting your application, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your personal data for recruitment, verification, and operational purposes.
Your data will not be shared with unauthorized third parties and will be handled securely in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).
Drivers may be assigned to operate either client vehicles or company vehicles, depending on the nature of the engagement.
Drivers are responsible for the proper handling, cleanliness, and safety of any vehicle assigned.
Any negligence, damage, or misuse may result in financial liability or disciplinary action.
Drivers must keep confidential all information received from clients or Ridewell during the course of duty.
Sharing or misusing client information (e.g., personal, business, or route details) is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
Ridewell reserves the right to decline, suspend, or terminate any driver’s engagement at its discretion if:
- There is a breach of these Terms and Conditions;
- The driver fails a background check or violates company policy; or
- The driver’s conduct, performance, or reliability is deemed unsatisfactory.
Submission of an application or successful completion of onboarding does not constitute a contract of employment.
Drivers may be engaged on a contractual or assignment basis, depending on service demand.
Ridewell reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Updates will be posted on the website, and continued use of our platform implies acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
